Movie Posters

Each picture of this series take part of a work
about movie posters. Each one had to be done
in just one day from conception to realisation
as posible of course. And each time the restraint
was different.

This first one had to be done with a non-graphic
technic, which is watercolour. In order to come
against the meaning of the sentence, I decided
to make this one block composition.

Watercolour - 42 . 59,4 cms.

The following one is a one-shot poster.
The picture had to be finished in the lens
of the camera. The aim was to give the
feeling that somebody just gone. I worked
in collaboration with Elsa Audouin.

Photography - 42 . 59,4 cms.

This one is the Polish version. I mean that
everything had to be done by hand only.
The reality is that I needed the computer
to translate the drawings into screenprinting
layers... I wanted to give the feeling of
a violent sensuality. It's something I often
like to put in my pictures : something and
its opposite. You can also see it in The Show.

Screenprinting - 42 . 59,4 cms.

This one was created with specific picture
base from the 50s and the 60s with the
idea to install a kind of gloomy atmosphere.
That is why I mixed human faces with this
non-edible-like food.

Collage - 42 . 59,4 cms.

The last one was a project in collaboration with
the cinema school of Geneva. I had to design
the poster for a short movie of a pupil there.
I wanted to make a kind of light fontwork
as a tramp history which is going out from the notebook.

Inkjet - 42 . 59,4 cms.
